Weston under Penyard Short Mat Bowling Club are a friendly social club that brings the competitive and addictive game of short mat bowls to the village hall every Monday evening from 7. We are a social club at heart but are also affiliated to Herefordshire Short Mat Bowling Association (hsmba.org) and take part in the Herefordshire league as well as other competitions ran by the association. Short Mat Bowls is a sport for all ages that is played in village halls across the county. Based on lawn bowls, short mat is played on a portable mat with the aim to get closer to the jack than your opponent, bowling around a wooden block in the centre. We provide all the equipment needed in the first instance so please do come along and see what it is all about! You can download a poster below.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a deeply relaxing, meditative, and still discipline of yoga where we gently stress the deep connective tissues of the body to build mobility and strength into our joints, fascia, and joints. It becomes more and more beneficial for everyone past the age of 30, and can be helpful in targeting persistent aches and pains in the body, and anxiety and stress in the mind and nervous system.
